MANSFIELD, George Samuel

79, Upper Tantallon, passed away on January 7, 2022, at the QEII Victoria General site, Halifax. Born in Westfield, Queens County, Nova Scotia he was the son of the late Jordan and Lola (Crouse) Mansfield.

George was an outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. After retiring from the military, he went to work for the Department of Transportation Registry of Motor Vehicles as Supervisor of Safety Field Programmes.

George is survived by his wife, Marilyn of 56 years; son, Steven (Cherie); brother, Terry; sisters, Gloria, Donna, and Elizabeth; grandchildren, Nathan, Emily, Tyler, Spencer, Parker, Sarah.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Pamela; brother, Richard, Wayne, Byron, David; sisters, Judy, and Martha.

Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Brain Tumour Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
