CROUSE (Zwicker), Gale Alana

Age 73, Gale Alana Crouse (Zwicker) of Hebb’s Cross, passed away on February 22, 2023.

Gale and her husband Merle were married for 54 years and enjoyed a simple life filled with family, home cooking and involvement in their community.

Gale leaves behind mother Pauline Zwicker; daughters Lee Ann (Ryan), Laura (Brian); grandchildren Rory and Felix Sno-Wood; sisters Elaine, Lynn, Kelly and brother Mark.

Gale was predeceased by father Stanley Zwicker and brother Ted.

Gale will be missed by many friends she made through her early working life, church involvement, photography work, extensive volunteer service and many activities.

The family of Gale Crouse would like to thank the paramedics, doctors, nurses and staff at the SSRH who cared for Gale following her stroke on February 21 and her passing. Gale’s family appreciated their kindness, professionalism and thoughtfulness during this difficult time.

The family also extends appreciation to the many VON LPNs and RNs who cared for Gale for 10+ years.

Thank you also to the pallbearers for their support and the many who contributed to the reception at the Conquerall Mills Hall following Gale’s service.
