CORKUM, Michael

Age 75, of Peachtree Corners, GA, formerly of LaHave, NS, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Thursday, April 14, 2022.

Mike was born in Bridgewater, NS, graduated from Acadia University in 1967 and began a long career in banking in Canada and the US. He retired from CIBC in 2004 after a 37-year career.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Daisy Corkum, sister, Carol Ann.

He is survived by his wife, Pat (Harlow) Corkum, daughters Kim Hartwig, Shannon (Jason) Snyder and grandchildren, Mackenzie and Hunter Snyder, Kacey and Sadie Hartwig, sister, Ellen (Darrell) Warren and many nieces and nephews.

A service in Mike’s honour was held at Christ Church Episcopal, Norcross, GA, on April 30. Interment of ashes will take place on July 23 at 2 p.m. at Fort Point Cemetery, LaHave. Afterward, a brief reception will be held at 3534 Highway 331, LaHave.
