BECK, Carrie Belle

Age 97, Wileville, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017, in Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born August 17, 1919, in New Elm, she was a daughter of the late Owen and Mabel Crouse. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are her son, Spencer (June) Beck, Wileville; grandchildren, Kathy (Andrew), Chris (Cindi), Karen (Peter), Ivan (Joanne), Cindy (Allen) and Rodney; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Ashley (Josh), Jordan, Mitchell (Colleen), Joshua, Ryan (Kayla), Amanda, Morgan, Nathaniel and Madison; several great-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Irving Fletcher Beck; son, Douglas; sisters, Marion and Dylis; a brother in infancy. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral service 11 a.m., Friday, March 24 in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater with Rev. Simon Davies officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only please, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Canadian Diabetes Association or charity of choice.
