BETTIN, Horst

If you had the pleasure to meet my husband Horst Bettin, you don't have to question if you had met him. Horst was a very special man that I was lucky to have spent forty-two years with. Behind those bright blue eyes lived a brilliant, beautiful loving gentle man.

I want to thank all of you who opened your hearts and doors when he seemed lost. Lunenburg is a special place, and this is where Horst wanted to resettle. He passed in late May and now I am the one lost.

Special thanks to my family whose love and support are always there, miles from them, they feel close.

Thank you to Dr. B. and all the staff on the third floor of Fishermen's for your support and loving care you all gave Horst.

Bella is now my constant companion who lost her sister Luna in early April. The sweetest of dogs, Luna waited in the same spot every night for her dad to come home. I have cried a river that I will never swim and will love my special man forever.
