ISNOR, Mary Alice

Mary Alice Isnor (nee Wardell) of Martin's River, passed away on November 13, 2023, in Fisherman's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.

Born to the late Laurence and Beatrice (Hiltz) on April 11,1927, in Stratford ON, Mary was known as an adventurous soul. She was a hard worker, not thinking twice about picking up a hammer to help build both homes. Mary loved travel, she and Vance went on many wonderful trips together.

Aside from her parents, Mary was predeceased by her older sister, Evelyn and her younger brother, Herman; her husband of 67 years, Vance, the love of her life, who passed away just 19 days before her. Also predeceased by granddaughter, Kayla.

Mary is survived by son, Allen (Mary); grandchildren, Holly, Ainslie, Ashton (Tyler) and Ethan; brother-in-law, Ward (Sharron) Isnor and nephew, Laurence.

A memorial service was be held 1:30 p.m., Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Grace Anglican Church, 5533 Highway 3, Chester Basin.

Thank you so much to the staff at Fisherman's Memorial Hospital Centre for Restorative Care who treated Mary and Vance like family. Thank you to Dr. Cecilia Newton for her dedication to Vance and Mary's care over these last several years. Family flowers only.
