2017-07-03

1941-2017 Estella passed away peacefully at the age of 76 on July 3rd at the South Shore Regional Hospital. Estella is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years Keith Naugler, her seven children; Kevin (Cally), Karen Anthony (Brian), Kerry (Jocelyn), Royce (Heidi), Kathy Black (Peter), Melinda, Royden (Tanya), and preceded by her youngest daughter Tracy. Twelve grandchildren, Tiffany & Gillian, Drew & Lauren, Ben & Darah, Dylan & Talor, Katie & Alex, Alisha & Connor and her two great-grandchildren Tommy & Welsey. She was extremely proud of everyone in her family. She loved talking about all their adventures and activities with her home care workers and those around her. She lit up the room with love for all who knew her. Estella was a kind-hearted, loving spirit with an infectious laugh that will always be remembered. She battled with many different health conditions for many years and held a fighting spirit until she finally found peace and joined her family and friends in heaven. Estella was employed at Bluenose RV and always dreamed of having her own travel trailer. For years she cherished her time with family, enjoying her "little piece of heaven" by the lake. One of her greatest passions was baking. Whenever you walked into the house you could smell something delicious coming from the kitchen. Weekend brown bread was always in high demand. She was always delighted when the grandchildren wanted her to help them bake. The family admired how her baked goods always turned out so delicious after using her unique measuring instincts! She really enjoyed her time behind the wheel. We always called her car "the little blue taxi" because she was always on a mission. She was active and on-the-go for the majority of her life, always wanting to help others. Most recently she sat contently knitting hats and finger puppets to donate to the IWK, the shelter and friends and family. She will be forever missed by her loving husband, family, friends and little companion Lily. Graveside Service will be held 11:00 am Saturday in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Camperdown, Pastor Paul Jensen Officiating. A reception for family and friends will be held following the service at the Italy Cross/Middlewood Fire Hall. Flowers will be accepted. Memorial Donations may be made to the QE II Health Science Centre, Halifax Renal Unit. On-line condolences may be made by visiting www.corkumfuneralhome.ca
