CONRAD, Elizabeth "Betty" Carolyn

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Elizabeth "Betty" Carolyn Conrad, age 92, on August 1, 2023, in Halifax, NS, after a brief illness. As requested by Betty, arrangements were entrusted to Maritime Cremation Centre, in Lower Sackville, NS. A funeral service and interment was held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at St. Andrew’s United Church, Crousetown, NS, with Reverend Neil McEwan officiating. Card of Thanks The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Claire Knowlan, Roger Currie, Barb and the nursing staff at Northwood Terrace in Halifax for their exceptional care and professionalism during the time our mother resided at Northwood. We also extend a huge thank you to Shirley Turner for all you have done for us in the last few weeks. We are so appreciative of your advice, suggestions and guidance every step of the way. Thank you also to Robert Croft, John Baxter and the group of local community members who graciously came together with little notice to aid in preparation for the service and reception. We are so grateful for all you have done and for your friendship and community support to our mother throughout her lifetime. We would also like to thank Rev. Neil McEwan for your compassion and guidance during this difficult time. Our family will always remember your kindness. To those who honored our mother’s memory with cards, charity donations and other gestures of condolences, we thank you for lovingly remembering her.
