EISNER, Susan Loretta

Age 92, of Chester Basin, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born on December 14, 1924, in Pictou, she was a daughter of William and Rita Murphy. Susan was full of life and loved knitting, crosswords, yard sales, reading, shopping and a good night of TV game and reality shows. Susan was truly admired and respected by her family, friends and wonderful neighbours, who always made time for her. She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Donald) Rafuse; son, Bernie (Mary-Ann) Eisner; sister, Doris (Connie) Langille; grandchildren, Christa Rafuse, Queensland; Leanne (Billy) Mason, Simms Settlement; Trevor Eisner, Western Shore; great-grandchildren who loved her dearly, Hayden, Kylee, Jessica, Jenna and Joesie; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Silas; brothers, Harry, Alvin, Afred and Stanley Murphy. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 19 in Lake View Cemetery, Chester Basin, Croft Road.
