WRIGHT, Geraldine Ann

It is with great sadness that the family of Geraldine Ann Wright, 87, of Lunenburg, announces her peaceful passing on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Ridgewood Assisted Living, Bridgewater.

Born in Lunenburg, she was the daughter of the late Freeman and Daisy (Rhuland) Corkum.

Gerry will be greatly missed by her son, Stephen (Chrisanne Zwicker) Wright, Arizona; her daughter Ann (Scott) Covey, Herman’s Island; her grandchildren, Chad (Marielle) Parks, Stephanie (Brad) Balcome, Tyler Parks, Brad (Katie Inkpen) Covey, Elizabeth Covey; great-grandchildren Harrison, Evelyn, Ava; and brothers, Robert Corkum and David (Jeanne) Corkum.

Besides her parents, she is pre-deceased by her husband, Barry and daughter, Lynn.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg. A memorial service for Gerry will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 2 p.m. from Central United Church, Lunenburg, Rev. Daniel MacDonald, officiating. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.
