WATSON, Daniel Cleveland

67, of First South, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Lunenburg, he was the son of the late Grover and Goldie (Hacquoil) Watson.

Danny worked all of his working life as a scallop fisherman and the majority of that time with Clearwater Foods. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life where he was the happiest in his own home.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Ann Morris (David Winters), Lunenburg, Susan (Richard) Pelley, Bridgewater, stepbrothers, Billy Hacquoil, Tantallon and Brian Hacquoil, SK; nephews, Dale, David and Jonathan.

He was predeceased by his parents and a twin brother, David in infancy and a sister, Judith Baron.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Highway 3, Lunenburg. At Danny’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no memorial service.
