LANGILLE, Wallace Wilfred

It is with a very heavy heart that I announce the passing of my father, Wallace Wilfred Langille, at the age of 93, at the Ryan Hall Nursing Home, Bridgewater, NS.

He was the son of the late Harold and Rhea Langille of Martin’s River, NS.

He is survived by his daughter, Christine Langille, Bridgewater; nephews, Martin Langille, Martin’s River and Harold Langille (Joanna), Martin’s Point and nieces, Beverly Keddy, Berwick; Berrnice (George) Haayer, Waterville; and Jillian.

Wallace was predeceased by his wife, Pauline (nee Keddy); his parents, Harold and Rhea Langille; and his twin brother, Edward Langille.

Wallace will be remembered for his work at St. Martin’s Anglican Church, Martin’s River, his time as a fire commissioner for the Martin’s River Volunteer Fire Department, and his work throughout the community.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at 2 p.m. at St. Martin’s Anglican Cemetery, Martin’s River. Memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia and to St. Martin’s Cemetery.
