DAURIE, Kevin Emery

It is with great sadness that the family of Kevin Emery Daurie, 64, of Garden Lots, announce his passing on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.

Born in Lunenburg, he was a son of Irleen Daurie, Lunenburg and the late Lowell Daurie.

Kevin spent his working life as a fisherman with Adams and Knickle in Lunenburg. He loved being in the outdoors and taking walks in the woods. Kevin also enjoyed raising several types of animals over the years; and in years past he also enjoyed hunting, playing hockey and was a great goal tender.

Kevin is survived by his daughters; Natasha (Evan Boudreau) Daurie, Chezzetcook; Megan (Tyson Keizer) Daurie, Big Lots; Angela (Shawn Proulx) Daurie, Halifax; son, Jonathan, Halifax; grandchildren, Matthias, Alphonse; mother, Irleen, Lunenburg; sister, Judy Tanner (David Pickings), Northwest; brother, Vance (Beulah), Front Centre; nieces and nephews, Kim, Andy, Kirk, Kendell and long-time companion, Annette Wamboldt.

Besides his father, he was predeceased by his stepmother, Margaret Daurie and stepfather, Gerry McKeil.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Highway 3, Lunenburg. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Garden Lots Cemetery, Garden Lots.
