Remembering the fallen on the South Shore

Bridgewater Branch No. 24 - Starts at 11:00 a.m. at the cenotaph on York Street. The public is invited to the legion for refreshments afterward while children are invited to the United Church.

Chester Branch No. 44 - 10:40 a.m. parade forms at legion and at 10:50 a.m. marches to cenotaph for wreath laying ceremony at 11 a.m. After the service coffee, tea, and snacks will be served at the branch.

Liverpool Branch No. 38 – Service at the Astor Theatre in Liverpool at 11 a.m. Doors open at 10 a.m.

New Ross Branch No. 78 - Service starts at 10:45 a.m. at the legion and will include readings from New Ross Consolidated School students. Following the service there will be a buffet lunch and music.

Lunenburg Branch No. 23 – Parade at 10:40 a.m. from the legion followed by a ceremony at the cenotaph. In case of rain, the service will be held at the United Church on Cumberland Street. A luncheon will take place afterwards at the legion branch.

Mahone Bay Branch No. 49 - Parade starts at the legion at 10:40 a.m and proceeds to the cenotaph where Remembrance Day ceremonies will commence around 11 a.m.

Veterans' Unit at Fishermen's Memorial Hospital - Service with chaplain, including wreath laying. Starts at 10:50 a.m. Open house held at the unit in the afternoon.

Caledonia - North Queens Community School at 10:45 a.m.

Port Mouton - United Baptist Church at 10:45 a.m.

Milton - Ceremony at Milton Memorial Hall at 10:30 a.m. Free lunch served after service.

Greenfield - Veterans Park at 10:30 a.m.
