BROOKLYN - The first Scotia Sk8 Park tour, featuring Canada's top skateboarder, Annie Guglia and semi-pro Lunenburg's Johnny Purcell, made a stop in Liverpool Oct. 13.

This was the second of a four stop tour put together by Event Atlantic that also featured stops in Truro, Wolfville and Sydney. Along with demonstrations by featured skateboarders and Cape Breton's Ryan Macarthur and Kenny Williamson there was also food trucks, live music by Atay and JAX and many giveaways.

People of all ages were invited to participate in the best trick competition and just to hang out.
