An official stamp cancellation ceremony was held Feb. 13 to celebrate the Town of Bridgewater's 125th anniversary. Mayor David Mitchell was on hand for the ceremony and received the first cancellation stamp designed by Canada Post's Paul McDonald and Cheryl Grantham of the South Shore Stamp Club. Shown here in the photo at right, from left to right, Tammy Lauritsen (Canada Post), former postmaster Ivan Rhodenizer (1971 to 1985), McDonald, David Baugil (president, South Shore Stamp Club), Mitchell and Todd Troop Canada Post.
