JONES, Darrell Clark

Age 73 of Bridgewater, passed away on September 25, 2021 in the South Shore Regional Hospital. Born on July 23, 1948 in Shelburne, he was a son of the late Clark Jones; Minard (Bubba) and Ida (Bezanson) Hiltz.

Darrell work as a Fire Fighter for the town of Bridgewater for many years. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 24 for many years.

Darrell is survived by his daughter, Penny Dupuis, Kentville; grandchildren, Cherise Dupuis (great grandchildren, Jaxon and Noah Eavis); Catherine Dupuis. He was predeceased by his dad, Clark; mother, Ida Hiltz and stepdad, Minard Hiltz.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater. No visitation by request. A private family burial will be held. Family flowers only. Donations in Darrell’s memory may be made to St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, New Ross or St. Augustine’s Anglican Cemetery, New Ross.
