EISNOR, Lester Keith


87, passed away peacefully March 12, 2019, surrounded by family at South Shore Regional Hospital following a brief battle with esophogeal cancer. Born in WIleville in 1931, he was the son of the late Leo and Mary (Weagle) Eisnor. Lester was a hardworking man who worked in forestry for most of his life. He enjoyed gardening with his grandchildren, spending time with family and friends and living life to the fullest. In his later years he spent a lot of time out enjoying the sights on his scooter, listening to country music, in Bridgewater. Lester chose to spend his final days at South Shore Regional Hospital surrounded by caring and compassionate nursing staff, including his granddaughter Jessica and special nurse Cait, who was present at the time of his passing. Surviving are his daughters Heather Eisnor, Bridgewater, and Valarie (Sherman) Eisnor-Russell, Hebbville; sisters Marjorie Eisnor, WIleville and Eileen Pitts, Quebec; grandson Shawn (Rhondalyn) Eisnor, Pine Grove; granddaughter Jessica Eisnor, Hebbville; great-granddaughter Chloee Cohen, Pine Grove; sister-in-law- Francis Eisnor, Lower Branch; nephew Gary OIckle, WIleville, as well as many other nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by brother Bernard Eisnor, sister Marion Wentzell and nephew Wayne Wentzell. Special thanks goes out to the nurses and doctors at South Shore Regional Hospital, as well as Lester’s many faithful visitors. Lester was cremated and remains with his daughters Heather and Valarie.
