Joan Elizabeth Rose (Mosher-Printz), of Bridgewater, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at her home. Joan was born December 2, 1943, in Upper Kingsburg, Nova Scotia. Daughter of the late Wilson Mosher and Verna Peeler (Wile-Mosher). Joan was a retired home care worker with Lunenburg Home Support. She spent a lot of time with her family and friends who she was most proud of. She was always on the go, if she wasn’t busy off to one of her card games or lunches, you’d find her on Facebook talking and seeing what everyone was up to. She was a social butterfly with a love for life. She was always smiling and making people laugh with her funny sense of humor. She was the matriarch of our family. She touched so many hearts and lives. She will be greatly missed by so many. Joan is survived by her two daughters, Denise Printz (Bill), Wileville, and Jacqueline Printz-Nowe (David), Bridgewater; two granddaughters, Meghan Nowe (Cory), Liverpool and Angelique Bastian (Brady), Bridgewater; one great granddaughter, Kaydence Weagle, Bridgewater; sister, Mildred Mosher (Sherman pre-deceased), Lunenburg; nieces, Margo Corkum (Bobby), Bridgewater, Bonita Dixon (Paul), Halifax, Maxine Wentzell (Tony), Pleasantville, Heather Power, Maitland, Vandelea Creaser (Danny), Italy Cross, Michelle Gillespie (Stuart), Riverport, Charmaine Smicer (Paul) Riverport; Vanessa (Derick) Hubley, Calgary, AB; brother-in-law, Fred Silver (Virginia) and numerous other nieces- nephews, great nieces-nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her stepfather Ross Peeler; two sisters, Vivian Silver and Syliva Power and granddaughter Allison Nowe. Burial was held at Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater on December 12, 2017. She soars above with butterfly wings but remains forever in our hearts. Card of Thanks Joan’s family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to relatives, friends and neighbors for their love and support with prayers, calls, visits, messages, and cards during their recent sad loss and difficult time. It meant so much to us knowing how much everyone loved her and how she touched the hearts and lives of so many people. She was the monarch of our family, we love her so much and she will be greatly missed.   We would like to give special thanks to Pastor Lennett J. Anderson for his comforting words and prayers for the family and for the support of the Emmanuel Baptist Church at this difficult time during our loss. Also, thank you so much for the beautiful, moving and memorable service it made a lasting impression on all present in Joan’s memory. It was a difficult day and the presence of all Joan’s family and friends who attended the service was a comfort to us and to our broken hearts. Thank you for all your love and support in the celebration of Joan’s life. The family would like to thank R.A Corkum Funeral Home for all the care and kindness you provided. A special thank to the Bridgewater Baptist Church for letting us hold Joan’s Memorial service at the Church and to the Ladies of the Bridgewater Baptist Church for preparing and providing the food for the reception in Celebrating Joan's Life after the service. You all made it an even more special day we couldn’t have done it without you. Also, we would like to thank everyone for the beautiful flowers and memorial donations made to Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Emmanuel Baptist Church. With Warmest Regards, The Printz and Nowe Family
