CORKUM, Madeleine Roseann

Age 91 of Conquerall Bank, passed away on June 10, 2021 in the South Shore Regional Hospital. Born on November 7, 1929 in Toronto; she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary “Marie” (Larocque) LaForest.

Madeleine volunteered many hours with the Canadian Cancer Society and with many different organizations, especially with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bridgewater.

She is survived by her children, John and Russel (Louise) Corkum; Conquerall Bank; James (Sharon) Corkum, Toronto; Julia Corkum, Caledonia; Janet (Robert) Purcell, Halifax; grandchildren, Micheal Corkum, Barbara Corkum, Nathen Corkum, Crystal Corkum, James Corkum Jr., Matthew Corkum, Zachary Corkum, Kristen Corkum, Travis Corkum, Jacob Corkum, Amanda Purcell, Megan Purcell and Dylan Purcell; 12 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Russel Corkum; daughter, Judy Corkum; grandchild, Justin Purcell.
