SMITH, Velma Joyce

Age 87, of Dayspring. It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of their precious mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Velma Joyce Smith, on November 2, 2020 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Velma was born in Waterloo and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Beulah (Clattenburg) Floyd. She was predeceased by husband, Napean, and sons Charles and David. She is survived by sons Basil (Pauline) and Calvin (Shirley); five granddaughters: Veronica, Cindy, Sheena, Michaela and Tareva; six great-grandchildren: Riley, Cameron, Evan, Madison, Ronan and Adrienne; and former daughter-in-laws, Judy and Janet. A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Dayspring Cemetery, with Rev. Willis Ott officiating.
