HOOPER, Lois Elizabeth

Surrounded by family, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 14, 2019. Born September 21, 1934, she was the youngest daughter of Arthur and Susan (Kaizer) Sawler. Loving wife of the late Pastor Jack Hooper, she faithfully served with him in pastoral ministry for many years. After Jack's passing, she continued visiting sick and shut-in friends, playing the organ each Sunday and greeting all she met with a ready smile. She is survived by daughter Darlene (Terry) Knock, sons JD (Katie), Allan (Annette), Andrew, and grandchildren Christopher, Aaron, Alex, Andrea, Ashley, Marion, as well as six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Lola and Bonna, brother Arthur and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brother Lewis and sisters Doris and Shirley. Funeral took place at Chelsea Christian Fellowship Church at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2019. Private family interment to take place at a later date. No visitation by request.
