CONRAD, Helga Renate

Age 78, of Upper LaHave, passed away on April 17, 2109 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Munster, Germany, Helga was a daughter of the late Heinrich and Magarete Lackmann. Helga is survived by her daughter, Sylvia (Walter) Welch, Toronto; son, Mark (Chaba), St. Margaret’s Bay; sister, Margit (Dirk) Sell, Germany; grandchildren, Alex, Chris, Ben, Robert and Mariam. She was predeceased by her husband, Letson Conrad. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater, where there will be no visitation by request. A Celebration of Life was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2019 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, the Rev. Simon Davies officiating. A burial will be held at a later date.
