DANIELS, Cedric Leon

2019-06-10

Cedric Leon Daniels It is with the heaviest of hearts we are sad to announce the passing of Cedric Leon Daniels at the South Shore Regional Hospital on June 10, 2019. Age 76, he was born and lived in Northriver, NS, then later resided in Conquerall Mills, NS. At a young age Cedric worked at the Mersey in Tantallon then later retired from the mill in Oakhill, NS. There were a lot of pranksters from the stories that were told, Cedric being one of them amongst the group of men that worked together. Cedric was the kind of person who could always make you laugh. He was always willing to lend a hand. He loved to have a night with the boys and the Captain while his wife was off to bingo. Cedric enjoyed the small things in life, like a drive to town for a coffee. He enjoyed the outdoors and every now and then a good game of forty fives. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to be with family, friends, and of course his fur baby friend, Pogo, whom we all think may have been his favourite. He is survived by his wife Alice; his three daughters, Mary, Karen and Kathy; son, Larry; and fur baby son, Pogo; two step-children, Brenda and Richard; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his brother Roger and sister Valerie. He was predeceased by both parents, Elrita and WIlfred; his brother Carol and sister Geneva. By request, there will be no service. A Celebration of Life will be for immediate family only at the family home.
