BAKER, Virginia Pauline

Virginia (Ginny) Pauline Baker, of Point du Chene, NB and formerly of Killams Mills, NB passed away at the Moncton Hospital Thursday, April 21, 2022, on her 89th birthday, a day she shared with the Queen.

Born in Lunenburg, NS, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Mildred (Conrad) Zinck. Virginia was a homemaker and she had attended First North River Baptist Church and the Sunny Brae Baptist Church.

She is survived and sadly missed by her daughter Holly Baker; sons Danny Baker (Kim) and Jeffrey Baker (Lisa); grandchildren Jared Lutes (Marie-Josee Poitras), their children Isaiah and Ophelia Lutes-Poitras; Timothy Lutes (Amanda Lutes), their children Brayden & Makayla Lutes; Thomas Lutes (Krista Lutes), their children Spencer and Leo Lutes; Jonathan Baker, Ryan Baker and Rachel Thibodeau (Douglas Perry), their child Ainsley Beers; brother Lloyd Zinck and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Virginia was predeceased by her husband Laurence Baker; daughter Nancy Baker; sister Joanne Hannam and brothers Herbert, Ray and infant Gilbert.

Visiting was held Sunday, April 24 from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m. at Salisbury Funeral Home, NB (506-372-4800) with Pastor Jarvis Lepper officiating. Interment in Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac, NB.

If desired, in memory of Virginia, memorials to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
