SARTY: Merrill William

Age 90 of Conquerall Mills, passed away on December 26, 2018 in the SSRH. Born in Lapland, he was the son of the late Wallace Sr and M. Eva (Wile) Sarty. Merrill was a school bus driver for 27 years and devoted his life to farming. Merrill is survived by his loving wife, Claribel (Meisner) of 63 years; sons William (Katrina), Warren (Patricia), Wendell (Darlene); daughters Joan (Blair), Julia (Derrick); grandchildren Adam, Justin, Jacob, Tegan, Billy, Shawna, Jordan and Candace; step-grandchildren Theresa and Jason; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; brothers Gerald, Walter and Wallace Jr (Myrlene), sister Sylvia (Ken). He was predeceased by his brothers Elwood and Dougald; sisters Marjorie, Clara and Ruby; grandson Jason. Funeral services were held December 31 from St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridgewater with interment in Ascension Lutheran Cemetery, Conquerall Mills.
