Bridgewater. With heavy hearts, my family and I witnessed God taking a precious Angel home. He was able to stay on this earth for 93 years and now rests in eternal peace. He inspired many and loved his family deeply. Dad, you will be missed forever. Lowell was one of the founding members of Baker Settlement fire department and served as Chief for 18 years. He was a Councillor with MODL for 15 years and served on many committees. He worked at Nauss Brothers for 30 years and also ran a mixed farm. He was a Pillar of the Lutheran Church since 17 years of age. The last surviving member of his immediate family, he was the son of the late A. Talmage and Bessie (Hirtle) Faulkenham. Surviving are his loving wife of 61 years, Gertrude (Lowe); children Brian (Lynn), Joanne (David); grandchildren Amanda (Matt), Tyler (Veronique), Gary (Krista); great-grandchildren Taylor, Dane, Ainslie. He was predeceased by brother Harold; nephew Raeburne. Visitation will be 7-9pm Tuesday in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, and where funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, Pastor Paul Jensen Officiating. Interment in Baker Settlement Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, Hillside Pines Home For Special Care, Bridgewater, or Baker Settlement Cemetery.
