Silver, Frank James, 80 of Upper Branch, passed away October 30, 2021 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Oakhill, February 22, 1941, he was a son of the late Ray and Myrtle (Ernst) Silver.

He lived on Aberdeen Road in Bridgewater with his parents until his marriage in 1983, then he and Joan moved to Upper Branch. Frank had fond memories of his childhood with his cousin John Fraser, later travelling with his dad Ray, when he went on his trucking jobs. At 16, he worked weekends and after school doing deliveries for Corkum’s Fish Market. Frank went to Bridgewater Commercial School taking typing and shorthand. He worked at Lohnes and Zwicker Ltd. until they closed in 1985. After several jobs, poor health led him to retirement in 1993.

Frank was predeceased by aunt Helen Joudrey; uncles William Ernest and George Silver.

Surviving are his wife Joan (Oickle); cousin John Fraser (Beverly), Oakhill; sister-in-law Madelene Gaetz, Upper Branch.

No flowers or donations by request. Frank's wish was to be buried with his parents in Brookside Cemetary. That request was carried out November 5, 2021.
