SALSMAN, Laura Dorothy

Laura Dorothy Salsman, 98 of Cambridge passed away on April 30, 2021 in the Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Walden, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Matilda (Nauss) Carver.

Laura was a devoted wife and mother who took great pride in keeping a well-maintained home and enjoyed baking and gardening. She was a member of the Trinity United Church in Waterville and worked at Larsen Packers Ltd in Berwick for over thirty years.

Laura is survived by her sister Esther Legge; brother Leonard Carver; eight grandchildren, and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Laura was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Franklyn Salsman and sons Clifford Stephen Salsman and Wayne Alwyn Salsman.

Due to the COVID pandemic, a private graveside service will be held at a later date in the Berwick Cemetery. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations, in Laura’s memory, may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
