CARNEGY (Beaumont), E. Jane

Age 93, Jane passed away peacefully in Halifax, NS on Sunday November 21, 2021.

Born in Ontario, Jane lived a full and rich life with her family, friends, and colleagues. She spent her last years in Halifax, but her happiest times were during retirement in Mahone Bay, where she lived energetically and with a certain panache alongside her husband, Scott (1926-2016) of 67 years. Together they hosted parties, socialized, danced, laughed, volunteered, and generally took part in the town’s goings on with smiles and generous hearts, always there for one and all. She loved nothing more than throwing open her doors and welcoming people in. Her last few years were difficult, but we choose to remember the dynamo she once was, and hope that thoughts of her bring a smile to those who knew her.

Jane is survived by son Eric, daughter Robin, grandchildren Duncan and Catherine, great-grandchildren Chloe, Sophie, and Theo, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Thank you to the nursing staff at Arborstone Enhanced Care for guiding her through her last months.
