67, Baker Settlement. It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Graham Meisner on Sunday February 16, 2020 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. He was surrounded by those who knew him best: his family. Graham was born in Bridgewater on April 1, 1952. He was a son of the late Ivan and Adelia "DD" (Veinot) Meisner, and grew up in Baker Settlement. In his younger years, he was an avid fisherman and loved to travel the back roads with his pals, music cranked and beer in the wheel wells. He was very active in school sports, playing basketball, soccer and volleyball- any way to get out of class. Graham worked for Crouse Surveyors, then moved on to Michelin Bridgewater where he retired with 35 years of service in 2007. Graham is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Valerie (Uhlman); sons Adam (Christine), Conquerall Bank, Joshua (Tasha Stoddard), Baker Settlement and the apples of his eye, two granddaughters Ava and Penelope Meisner. He is also survived by his brothers Warren (Valerie), Bayport and Garry, Dartmouth; several nieces and nephews. Aside from his parents, he was also predeceased by a brother Wayne. A family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to The Rose Fund or a charity of your choice. Cremation and arrangements are entrusted to the R.A.
