With heavy hearts and great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Connie Fielding of Cherry Hill, on June 11, 2017, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, after a long and brave battle with cancer, with an earth angel at her side. Connie was raised and educated in Bridgewater. She lived the last 15 years in their loving home in Cherry Hill. She had resided at Harbourview Haven in Lunenburg and recently moved to Ridgewood assisted living in Bridgewater. Connie was the deputy registrar of deeds in Bridgewater. She was a beautiful dancer, loved gardening and was always there to help anyone. Connie volunteered at the Cherry Hill fire department for many years with the Fireman’s breakfasts and fund raising events. She is survived by her son Craig Conrad, Bridgewater; father Errol Hebb; brothers Darrell (Lynn Marie), Peter (Linda, Cody, Gia, Megan); sister Vickie (Mark) Bromley. She is also survived by her step-children Laura Fielding- Vandergaag (Jason) and Craig Fielding (Katy); proud step-grandmother to Vivian and Zane. She was predeceased by her husband and knight in shining armour, Arthur Fielding and her loving Mother Marjory Hebb. Many thanks to all the friends and family that were there in her time of need. I know Connie appreciated your thoughtfulness from the bottom of her heart. She will always be remembered with love and forever missed by her family, extended family and friends and lives that she touched with her beauty and genuine kindness. Interment for family and friends will take place Friday, June 16th at 11:30 am in Pine Grove Cemetery, Cherry Hill. Memorial Service 1:00 pm Friday in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, Rev. Willis Ott Officiating. Flowers will be accepted. Memorial Donations may be made to the United Communities Fire Department or the Canadian Cancer Society.
