MANTHORNE, Walford Tremaine Jr., "Sonny"

82 of Bridgewater, formerly of Broad Cove and Cherry Hill, passed away in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, April 26, 2018. Born in Milton, NS, he was the son of the late Walford and Vera (Vaughan) Manthorne. Surviving are his loving wife of 22 years, June (Conrad) Manthorne; sister Anna Louise Wamboldt (Lester); brother-in-law James Rhodenizer; aunts Dorthy Mossman, Brenda Russell and Irene Martin; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother Balfour, sisters Nora Mae and Rosemary. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Memorial service will be held Saturday, May 19 at 11 a.m. from R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Internment will be at a later date. No flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made to South Shore Regional Hospital, United Communities Fire Department, or charity of your choice.
