DOREY, Clarence Robert

Age 95 of Walden and most recently of Ashwood Lodge, Cookville, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Walden on the family homestead, he was a son of the late Arthur and Elfreda (Hatt) Dorey.

Clarence made a living at various jobs in the course of his lifetime including farmhand, production work at the Fibre Glass Plant then as a carpenter’s helper at Dorey Construction. Clarence had a great compassion for his family and the community. He felt pride in his membership with the Walden Volunteer Fire Department.

Clarence was the last surviving member of his immediate family and was predeceased by infant sister, Nellie; sister, Addie Mader and brothers, Aubrey, Harry, Robie, Earl, Carroll and Emery.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Walden Community Cemetery, Walden. Rev. Brooklynn Lane officiating. Memorial donations in memory of Clarence may be made to the Walden Volunteer Fire Department.
