BOUCHARD (Bérubé), Carmelle Louise Marie

Age 89, of Bridgewater, died July 11th, 2018 in Kentville. Born in St. Leandré, QC, Carmelle was the eldest daughter of 8 to Eduard & Edith Bérubé. She was predeceased by her husband, Adrien Bouchard and siblings, Valmont, Bertrand, Gaby, Bernard, and Michelle. She is survived by siblings, Gilles, Gilberte, and Jacques; loving Mother of Martine (predeceased, Wayne), Michelle (Janos), Danielle, Sue, Marc (Prima), and Mary Lou; grandmother of Chris, Angela, Jonathan, Anthony, Eric, Adrienne, Meghan, Ryan, Branden, Lucy, Monica, Aaron, Brandon, Jenny, Liana, Robyn; great Grandmother of 6. Carmelle was a devout Catholic whose faith sustained her through life. She loved camping, traveling, cooking, long walks, and spending time with her many friends. She worked at Dawson Memorial Hospital for several years and was an avid volunteer at the Food Bank for over 20 years. She was an Active Member of St. Joseph’s Parish with the ladies aux. RCL. She was also a member of the Red Hatters and loved to bowl. We love you mom. You will be missed and in our hearts forever. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 13th, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A funeral mass will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 14th in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Bridgewater, Father Jim MacDonald officiating.
