COOK, Brian Henry

Age 66, of Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, he was the son of Harry St. Clair Cook, Bridgewater and the late Constance Marie (Williams). Prior to retirement, Brian was a level four air traffic controller in Moncton. Surviving are his wife, Sharon May Slauenwhite, Bridgewater; father, Harry (Thelma) Cook, Bridgewater; step daughter, Brandi Eikle, Musquodoboit; step son, Gregory Eikle, Camperdown; sister, Tina (Donald) Blinn, Bridgewater; step sister, Donna (Pierre) Pagé, Austria; brother, Charles (Val) Cook, Green Bay; step grandchildren, Madison and Wesley Eikle; uncle, Dennis (Inez) Williams, Wentzell Lake; aunt, Elizabeth Oickle, Bridgewater; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Constance; wife, Dorothy Patricia (Murray). There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral service 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 15 in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater with Rev. John Wright officiating. Private family interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater.
