OXNER, Mary I

It is with great sadness that the family of Mary I Oxner, 92, of S.H.V. Chester, announces her passing on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Mary was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Lunenburg. In her earlier years she was a Sunday School teacher and a member of Talent Club. She worked at Rudolf's Ladies Wear for 35 years and was a volunteer at Harbour View Haven for 15 years. Mary loved her summers, camping at the lake and travelling with her family. Her love of Disney, Christmas and life was contagious. She loved baking and knitting, which was enjoyed by the family and community. She was generous, caring and will be dearly missed. Mary is survived by her daughter, Jane; son, Barry (Brenda); grandchildren, Pamela (Stephen), Jamie, Nicole (Donald), Jonathan (Sharleen), Jaclyn (Corey); great-grandchildren, Robyn, Rachel, Meredith, Dhiran, Ryan and Nikhil. Mary was predeceased by her husband Dorne and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
