80, of Boutiliers Point, It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mom suddenly on Saturday, July 22, 2017, in Tantallon. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of late William and Dorothy (Brown) Myra. Marie was employed with National Sea and later became a clerk at the Red and White Store in Boutiliers Point. Later she worked at Glades Lodge Limited. Marie enjoyed being with people, she had a kind heart. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed her drives with her friend Arlene. She loved her daytime companion and protector Paris and spending time rocking in her rocking chair with her great grandson Brayden and he called her GaGa. Survived by her sons, Earl (Debbie), Billy (Mary); both of Boutiliers Point; Daughters, Dorothy Westhaver, Hubbards; Rose (Kent) Boyle; Boutilier’s Point; brothers, Fred (Colleen) Myra, Waverley; Artie (Mary) Myra, B.C.; sisters, Kaye Profit; Ethel Snair, both of Boutiliers Point; 12 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; Predeceased by her husband, Wallace, son Gordon; son-in-law Brian Westhaver. In keeping with Maries wishes a committal service for both Marie and her husband Wallace will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 27 in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Boutiliers Point. Rev. Brieanna Andrews officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. James Anglican Church, Boutiliers Point, Diabetes Association, Cancer Society and or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
