MEAGHER, Brian Charles

Passed away peacefully on May 15, 2017, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born on June 19, 1940, in Halifax, he was a son of the late Edward and Ruby (Spencer) Meagher. Brian was retired from Philips Electronics Service where he was employed for 29 years. Brian is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary (Hagen); daughter Jody Anderson (John); sister Karen Connolly. Many people will remember how much he enjoyed political conversations. Although he had Juvenile Diabetes, he enjoyed softball, volleyball, curling and darts. He was a member of the Halifax City Dart League for many years and served as their treasurer. Celebration of Life will be held on July 3, 2017, at 2 pm in Westside United Church, Pentz. Interment will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the R.A.
