ZWICKER, Marjorie Ann

Age 79, Yarmouth, passed away peacefully at Treasured Memories Seniors Estate Residence, November 7, 2020. Born in Bridgewater, November 2, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Elva (Joudrey) Cross. Marjorie was a member of Yarmouth North Baptist Church and Ladies Auxiliary of Yarmouth North WMS. She was an avid knitter for decades and the lucky recipients of her impeccable craft spread near and far. She enjoyed dancing, music, bowling and going for drives with friends. Enjoying a meal involving seafood made her day even better! Over the years, she donated hundreds of mittens through the fire department and to daycares. She also loved baking molasses cookies and sharing them with others! She especially loved Christmas. Going to church on Christmas Eve was such a joy to her. Marjorie was known for completing word books and watching game shows, as other ways to pass time. Maybe she will get to meet the beloved Alex Trebec! She is survived by her two brothers, Gerald (Marguerite) and Douglas (Donna) as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium Yarmouth. A memorial service will be held, Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 2 p.m. from the Yarmouth North Baptist Church. Dr. Shawn Kehoe and Rev A.D Bill Newell officiating. Interment to take place at the St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Branch LaHave, Lunenburg County at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Yarmouth North Baptist Church or the Friends of Gilles Boudreau Cancer Help Fund.
