SWINIMER, Violet Geraldine

Violet Geraldine Swinimer, Age 66, of Western Shore, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on February 4, 2018 in the South Shore Regional Hospital.

Violet was a devoted wife and a proud mother and grandmother. She loved to laugh and enjoyed being surrounded by loved ones. Caring and kind, her arms and home were always open to friends and family in need. She will be missed dearly.

She was a daughter of the late Nearus Nauss. She is survived by her mother Lily (Nauss) Veinotte, husband, Raymond Swinimer, children, Tony (Cindy) Swinimer, Katie (David) Baker, Roxann Swinimer, (Paul Slaunwhite), Colt Swinimer, Grandchildren, Megan (Griffin McComber), Dylan Baker, Graidy, Kayla, Emily and Trayton Swinimer, Siblings Gordon Nauss (Joanne Ullock) of Blockhouse, Ernie Nauss (Norma Webster) of New Minas, Diana (Albert) Caines of Blockhouse, Zedrick (Ted) Nauss (Janet) of New Minas, Earl Nauss (Melodie Allen) of Ontario, Jane (Brenton) Dorey of Hebbville.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Violet's life will be held at the Davis Funeral Home in Chester on Friday, February 16 9-10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SHAID Tree Animal Shelter and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
