IT is with shock and sadness that we announce the passing of Dwight Ivan Rhodenizer, 62, of Oakhill, on September 26, 2017. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of Audrey (Ernst) Rhodenizer, Oakhill, and the late Ivan Rhodenizer. Dwight was a member of the ARK in Bridgewater for 25 years, where he contributed to the community with the many tasks he was responsible for. He was known by many as the "Bottle man" and he kept the recyclables cleaned up for 49 years. Last year, Dwight received the Maritimer of the Week Award from CTV for outstanding contribution to the community. He took great pride in his work and will be sadly missed by his family, friends and co-workers. Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Friday, October 27, 2017, in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. Interment in Dayspring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ARK in Bridgewater.
