PETTIPAS, Lorraine Lucille

1947-2017. Age 70, Mahone Bay, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017, at Mahone Bay Nursing Home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Betty (Blackett) Pettipas. Lorraine was raised in Spryfield most of her life until her placement in Mahone Nursing Home. She enjoyed reading, bingo, coloring, attending church and hymn sings. She had a fantastic memory for names, dates and other information. Lorraine was a kind soul, confident, complimentary to everyone and a great sense of humor. She loved her jewelry and being glamorous. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. A graveside service and interment will be held on Monday, September 11, at 2 p.m. in Emmanuel Anglican Cemetery Sussex St. Halifax.
