Age 70, of New Ross, Lunenburg County, died on October 28, 2020 in Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Marystown, NF, he was the son of the late Andrew Brake and Anna (Churchill). He is survived by his partner of many years, Betty Hughes; daughters Anna (Elmer), Newfoundland; Amanda (Eddy), ON; Chrystal, NF; step-daughter Monica, United States; sister Sylvia (Ron), United States; brother Andy (Audrey), Lunenburg; step-sister Delores (Kim), ON; step-brother Ricki (Audra), NF; several grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral. Memorial donations may be made to Palliative Care, Victorian Order of Nurses or Fisherman's Memorial Hospital, Medical Unit, Lunenburg.
