SELIG, Doris Ruth

Doris Ruth Selig passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 21, 2017, with her family by her side at Shoreham Village, Chester. Born in Upper Branch, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Agnes (Aulenback) Beck. Doris was a stay at home Mom who looked after and raised her large family. She was a member of St Luke’s Lutheran Church, Baker Settlement. Surviving are her daughters, Diane Selig (Wilton) and Betty Norwood, sons, Wayne (Carmel), Wade, Kendall (Barbara), Norman (Vivian), Kenton, Vaughn and David, brother Lester (Helen) Beck. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband Mervyn, a son Douglas, brothers, Lawson, Donald and Eldon. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, 2719 Hwy 325, Wileville where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Burial will follow in Baker Settlement Cemetery. Family flowers only.
