DILL (McCarthy), Mary Helena

Age 89 of Bridgwater. It is with much sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many on May 12, 2021 at Ryan Hall Nursing Home, Bridgewater. Born April 7, 1932 in Italy Cross, NS, she was the daughter of the late George Soliman and Jessie (Herman) McCarthy.

Mary was the loving mother to Pauline (Murray), Debbie (Keith) Bush, Paul (Janie) Rhodenizer, Barry Rhodenizer, Rebecca (Brian) Dylanger, Velma (Howard) Ricketts, and Arnold (Heidi) Dill and sister to Una Corkum and Francis Harmon. She was grandmother to eleven, great-grandmother to seven, and great-great-grandmother to four.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Ervin Dill, her daughter Katherine, seven brothers, and four sisters.

Mary loved to knit, crochet, play bingo, watch wrestling, and listen to local county music.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Ryan Hall who took wonderful care of her during her last days. She loved all of you. We will forever miss you mom.
