62, of West Dublin passed away on September 15, 2022, at his home. Born in Bridgewater, he was the son of the late Sylvia (Getson) and Albert Wambach.
Kevin was a well known Master Craftsman/ Boat Builder. He was a life long resident of the LaHave area and the owner of LaHave Marine Custom Boat & Woodworks. He possessed an old school talent and blended it with modern ways - the likes of which one would be very hard pressed to find in this day and age.
Kevin took great pride in his work, which included, but is not limited to, his work on True North, The White Heather, restoring boats in St. Maarten, cabinet making and building Swampscotts and Tenders.
Kevin’s immense talent, humour, kind smile and the twinkle in his eyes will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Kevin is survived by sisters Karen (John) Fultz, Crousetown and Connie (Gerry Day) Wambach, Halifax, niece Sarah (Cory) Cook and great-nephew Will, Riverport.
He was predeceased by his oldest sister Kathy Adams.
There will be no visitation in the funeral home. Burial and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to R.A. Funeral Home, Wileville.
