Truck Goes into Water in Riverport

While there was no evidence of injuries, police plan to follow-up with the owner of a pickup truck that left the Lower LaHave Road and went into the water on May 31.

Volunteer firefighters from Riverport, along with paramedics and RCMP, responded to an area near the Highway 332 bridge around 10:38 p.m. where they found the truck but no occupants.

"The male driver and his dog walked away from the scene and we are continuing to try and find them," Cpl. Jennifer Clarke told LighthouseNOW the day after the incident.
