Motorists be aware of traffic restrictions on Highway 103 near Hubbards as emergency crews deal with a crash involving a tractor trailer hauling tires.
The collision near Exit 6 occurred Friday morning and, as of 11 a.m., prompted a temporary closure of eastbound lanes. The westbound lanes remain open.
Lunenburg district RCMP Sgt. Mark MacPherson said no one was seriously hurt as a result of the incident.
The traffic restrictions are expected to be in place for the next couple of hours.
Rain continues to fall along the South Shore as the area experienced freezing rain overnight, making for hazardous driving conditions Friday.
