Stolen SUV torched, abandoned near Martin’s River over the weekend

Lunenburg District RCMP are asking for the public's help after an SUV was stolen and then later found burnt and abandoned over the weekend.

On January 27, a brown 2016 Honda CRV was moved from where it was parked in an open area on Lawrence Hat Road between Exit 9 and 10, Highway 103, Martin's River sometime after 7:30 p.m. that evening.

The vehicle was found burnt and abandoned the morning of January 28 on a gravel road north of Highway 103, Martin's River, RCMP reported in a release.

The police are asking for assistance from the public in the investigation.
